It's struck me that this is unlike most other pictures of mine as it's not getting done in one sitting. Having scanned the pencil I mess with the 'curves' in Pshop, sidestepping any inking! Then try out putting in colour. This time starting with texture from two of my favourite sources, a page of red ink and crayon scanned and a photo of some pals in a Belgian bar.

And see where it takes me.

Been at work all day then went to Granny's with the family where she cooked chicken with bananas and sweetcorn.

New British Comics #2 out now.

The third of three anthologies I've contributed this year but the first to go out. Available now at Bad Press and should be at the Smallzone stand at Thought Bubble in a few weeks. 15 strips by 19 artists in both English and Polish (I love seeing my strip in Polish) all wrangled together by Karol Wisniewski. Great to do, the story itself (a robbery/haunted house adventure) had been lurking around for years. Anyone that gets one or has read it, I'd love to know what you think.

Scrooge

Seemingly out of now where I ended up with a Scrooge sketch in the moley today. Perhaps, with the worry of how that impeding Jim Carrey film might upset the memory what is a true Muppet classic.
