Stand Off

Things are moving at a very crappy rate at the mo. Between day jobs, cold germs and 'unpostable' work projectsThis blog has been a very quiet place. This is a Gungle page that I am not 100% happy with but will sort out.

Looks good to me, Warwick. Great page layout, nice negative space and excellent individual panels.

Thanks Jonathan. It's been a major cause of pondering just but with all so crazy at the mo it might look better/ clearly show the problem, when I have some time.

The Gorilla in the middle of the page , you make a scale (photoshop) with it and reduce his size , and maybe give an effect ( zoom out with little bit blur ????)
I don't get the true , just ideas , maybe bad ideas ???...
I find there's a lack of depth , but anyway , your work is REALLY great !
I love it !

Lack of depth in this page , not in your work ! I hope you understood ...

G. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them loads. I see what you mean with the ape and will think about it when I come back to this page later on. Thanks again for your time and suggestions.

I said zoom out but may be zoom in ???
it seem there's a duel between ape and the woman ( no ??)
and there's a man on the branches above them...
We see in this box in high angle shot a second before the battle.
So may be the zoom (on the ape in the background ) will act as a spring movement to give a strong crash ..?? may be it's a bad effect .
(it's a just a game to play director.)

fab seeing a new page up.
i think your narrative flow is smooth n strong, especially those last 3 panels - crackin!

the only thing that throws me a little is the big pink butt, your eye is directed straight to it.

or mebbe that's just me...
