Charcoal and Instagram
With a mind totally useless but a hand itching to draw I took a stab at an A3 pad with some very old charcoal. Lots of fun but I'm too done in to try more.
I've seen a couple of artists tweeting Instagram photos of their sketches of late (though I think your JLA shots might have been the first 'uns), and the results are always effective.
It's the sketch equivalent of the vocoder and can have an enormously improving effect on drawings. Particularly mine. It is also a really effective way to present work immediately for someone angling for a response. Particularly me.

I love charcoal but touching and drawing with it gives me the heebie jeebies.
Wonderful as ever.
